This is the front yard... there was stuff on the yard in preperation for Dyer's party, but it rained during.

This stream runs by the house and feeds the Harpeth... we're getting married where they meet.

They are building a new deck so the view of the river will be better for the wedding.
Gotta love a good excuse for home improvement! heh

Abby checks out the progress so far...

Abby was kind enough to guard us from the flotsom and jetsom floating downstream... She intimidated it with her bark.

Zeke and Lola took a different approach, and would actually swim out and retrieve stuff.

It was actually a nasty current, but Zeke is a champ...

"Here ya go, Uncle Wes... I found this bottle in the river... would you throw it for me again, please?"

"What... what the hell... what the hell are they DOING down there... don't they know that's WATER?"

Frodo isn't as good of a swimmer... and I... well... umm.. I lured him into the water by throwing stones into the water.
Unfortunately, he swims like Abby, and once he hits the water, he just paddles till he hits land.
That's him... on the other shore. Hey now! I fixed it! I just threw rocks into the water on the other side till he dove in and swam back!
Lola and Zeke stayed with him most of the time... they're good eggs.
