So the new girlfriend came down from Nashville for the weekend, and I got
to run her through the whirlwind gauntlet that is my life. Strangely, she
seems to still love me, my life, my friends, and my family... go me! I really
appreciate everyone in my life for showing her so much of the good that is
in my surroundings... It makes me remember that all that you often only hear
the negative press when you are around negative people. And we got to hang
out with a LOT of positive people this weekend. She's getting the written
quiz of everyone's names on Wednesday.
Friday night was dinner at D&L Bistro... I love that place. But first we went
over and visited Wendy's grandmother. She's a delightful lady, and we talked
about Mobile and Florida and all kinds of other stuff. Her aunt was there
as well. I guess they got to be the second line of inquiry... after Matt,
but before her parents... heh... I think parents are next Sunday in Mount
Pleasant.
