• In case I haven't mentioned, I'm going to be managing at Chef Green's... I'm excited and worried and a little paranoid... but I think it's going to be a good thing. I need to get the right staff under me, though. Not playing the country club game again. It's not going to be a GM-esque position, though. I'm essentially going to be a manager/waiter. Half my income will come from waiting tables.


• Spent a lot of time getting my yard in shape this week. Put weed killer on two weeks ago, got the grass seed down yesterday, put out the round-up and poison ivy killer this morning, and got the veggies into the garden so they can take good root. I always love to get myself active in the spring.


• Jeff has moved back in and brought a little half-pug with him named Max. It's neat having another doggie around the house...and Jeff is ok, too. We moved my computer desk into my room and set up a bed where my computer used to be. He's not a couch guy anymore.


• Somehow, on a lark, we went to Costco. $350 later we're wondering why. But we have meat for weeks. Go us.


• Wendy is getting her house on the market, so I'm going to spend the weekend in Nashville helping her get things done. Touch-up paint, putting down grass seed, powerwashing the house and water sealing the porch. Oh Honey-Do.


• I'm starting to get back into music, and I'm excited about that. I go in phases where I turn it on to do other things like shower or clean... and it always makes me happier when I'm in the mood for music.


• Been going out more lately, as well. I've gotten to laugh with a lot of people lately, and that's a big plus. I'm sure Jeffy will help get me out of my shell as well.


• Amanda is coming down next week to visit! She's moving to Austin and will stop in for a day or so on the way. She's going to be bringing her dog, Roo. Gabe is gonna LOVE it.


• Haven't been playing much WoW lately, but I did get my priest up to 49. We're finishing Mauradon with the dwarf group this week. I like that place... but I'm still eager for Dire Maul.


• Wendy and I are sharing our one year anniversary this weekend. I'm the luckiest boy in the world.


• Seth is playing at UAH this weekend with a full band! GO SEE!

You can see a couple of spots where the creeping charlie had strangled the grass... but it still looks pretty good!


I got a roma tomato plant down, a habenero plant for Jeff, and some basil.
There's also some thyme in that pot.


Jeffy's parents say g'bye to Max so that he can get growled at by Abby... heh
