I guess it's bad form to have a good time at a funeral... but I think Wendy's grandfather would have approved. It was the first time I got to meet many of her relatives, and they were quite the eclectic batch of characters. I've been playing World of Warcraft on a weekly basis with Wendy's dad, uncle and two cousins, so it was our first time to meet face to face as well. Needless to say, much game talk transpired. Pictures of us behind the cut.
There were a herd of little munchkins running underfoot, and the adults did plenty of laughing. We even got a 12 person game of Scene It! going at 11pm... I hope my funeral is like that. I wouldn't mind some Balderdash going on to warm my path to the next night.
This is little Dyer, playing trains on the carpet. He's growing so fast... it's amazing.
This is Benjamin driving his little Jeep into the bushes... every time he would scream out, "Oh NO!" as if he couldn't control that crazy .01mph freight train.
Dinner after the funeral... I swear Dyer should just have the sippy cup glued to his lips.
more family... Wendy's family has a wing in Haiti... I'm hoping we get to go visit one day.
Little Anika with her fingers in Uncle Bob's tea dunking her lemon.
Wendy and the young-uns... including Wee Jake... :)
The "We've been drinking and playing Scene It!" crowd awake in the AM.
The World of Warcraft players unite...
Here we are after emptying the altar at the Blackwater Deeps.
And adorable little Snowflake...the gnome warrior...
Non Funeral Related I got nuts! and they are "Fancy Grade"... say it like Eddie Izzard.
Abby gets a sniff of the new dog next door. It's his first day in the backyard and he is very sad. I try to smile at him, but he's still crying over there.
Awwww! Murphey just sits there and stares at me at my computer! And if I go to the bathroom, he starts crying!
