Wait, didn't I come to DC for some constructive reason?
Here's the lovely place where I had to show up, hungover and wishing for a
swift death.
Needless to say, I spent half the morning swilling coffee.
Here are some of the guys I was in class with.
I forgot their names, too.
Exiting the Metro to make a stop at my Internet Cafe.
That night I headed over to the restaurant where Ali is working to check it
out.
The place is called Tony and Joe's, and is right on the Potomac River.
I got there right at sunset, so the view was nice. People would drive their
boats up to the dock and just hang out.
I'd like to be able to say that the food knocked me dead, but the view and
atmosphere was what it was all about.
In fact, it was so nice, I had to call my friends Rob and Jen in Toronto
and
tell them I wished there were there to see the place.

Plus, the american flags hanging everywhere reminded me of Canada... go figya.

After dinner, it was off to Georgetown for some boozing and chatting.

But I had to make it an early night so I could catch the Metro back to my
hotel.
Bah, humbug.
