Cleaning up the Mess

Well, I finally got over there to get some pictures of the club... and the horrible state of its condition.

I had hoped to have the place cleaned by the beginning of September, but the best laid plans are always for naught when it comes to halloween.

Check it out... the pigeon poop covered sty I had to work with!



I knew we we're going to have to build around some air conditioning ductwork and some seriously hazardous wiring.


Here you could see about 1/2 the length. I didn't have as much room as I would like, but it would do.


Look at all the great CRAP we had to work with! This place was loaded with junk.


We just needed to move it around and weasel out some space.


The hard part was getting all the hands we needed to actually do the work!

After One Day of Tough Cleaning

Here's all the work we did on Sunday... it was a good turnout (if a little late), and the people who worked took a lot of scavenger poop up the nose in the process... Thankfully, someone went and got filter masks so we didn't have to breath it the whole time

See! Look at that massive amount of difference! Go Team!


But there is a lot of crap that we need to get up and out to a dumpster...


We tried to organize the crap into Stuff We Can Use, Stuff That Gets Tossed, and Stuff for The Lump

Not half bad for a days worth of work, eh?


This is all that remained from last year's Haunt...


This is The Lump... or The Pile... depending on how I feel at the time.
